Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

A lot better than expected after reading reviews.
Very pleased with the summer house so far, only had a day on it as it took half a day levelling off the flags for it, up to now very impressed, quality is really good. A few panels with nails sticking out but nothing a quick hammer can sort.

More than expected!
Brought this, to turn into a man cage / bar. Really pleased with the quality of the product. I would say to any people purchasing this item, make sure your base is flat and you can't go wrong. Instructions are simple to follow and erecting only took four hours. (advice - laminate the instructions)
Just painted the exterior grey with white frames. Can't wait to get started on the bar. Would recommend this to anybody wanting the same.

Bought a summerhouse 2 weeks ago which I haven’t built yet but so far I am impressed with the service I got from Robert dyas. Delivery was advised at time of ordering and as promised was txt with 2 hour window. Delivery was spot on.

Surprisingly good
Brought this last week, was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, however I have to say I’m really pleased. Delivered within the agreed time and date and was kept informed of appropriate delivery time. I’m not a expert DIYer and I roped my neighbour in to help and we had it together within 3 hours (minus the doors felt and trim).
Yes there were a few broken bits, but nothing to be concerned about and not worth asking for a replacement. Instructions fairly easy to follow, but worth watching YouTube to get a better idea of how it is put together.
Would recommend …. It is what it is for the price, if you want something that has thick walls and floors, then look for something else, but it will cost a lot more.

Bonus storage to garden
Looks lovely, but build not as straight forward as could have been. Sizes not accurate, many nails had to be punched in, panels could have been marked in accordance with diagrams. Nevertheless, a good addition to garden.

Looks fantastic
I’m very pleased with the almost finished product, after reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting much but looks really good quality is pretty good overall we are happy. There was a few things of with measurements and little flaws on some bits of wood but I’d say it’s worth the money.

Disappointing
We bought this a few weeks back, delivery was quick. But unfortunately some of the shed sides were bowed, and measurements were slightly out, we’ve managed to put it up, but I was lucky enough that my husband is a carpenter and was able to sort this.

The two pictures of measurements are different, only by a few centimeters but it makes the difference to me of whether it would fit or not.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
