Pressure treatment is a high-pressure chemical process designed to preserve exposed timber, by providing optimal protection against insect attack, fungal attack and decay. The pressure treatment process impregnates preservative chemicals deep into the timber fibres to protect it against the elements and help to prolong its life. The whole process takes several weeks, to ensure the timber is fully dried and the chemicals are fully permeated.

What are the benefits?

  • Higher quality and more durable.
  • Garden buildings that are fully protected against rot, fungal decay and insect attack.
  • 15 years anti-rot guarantee as standard.
  • Attractive bronze colour, highlighting the warmth and charm of the timber.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very Impressed with the floor I bought this shed a month ago and on putting it together and I found there was poking through the timber and the shed panels have nails exposed as the thickness of the floor is very poor and same with the way the roof goes together

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great. Roofing boards are only 8mm and if a pigeon landed on them, I think the roof would collapse. Flooring boards are only 10mm and I wouldn't put my 14 stone weight on it, I'd rather put my foot on a beartrap and probably have a better chance of success of getting my ankle back in one piece than walk on that crummy floor. As for the supplied roofing felt... well let's just say I've handled thicker pieces of A4 paper that are less likely to tear than this stuff. Styrex window is what it is. All this for the low, low price of £800 ! Positives are that the walls seem very decent and sound, the roofing joists are suspect, I may have to purchase some better wood than is supplied. The floor joists supplied may as well be matchsticks. All in all, it's not worth £800, if you buy it then get ready to spend more to make the shed decent, as I'm getting 18mm and 20mm boards and 3x2 lengths of wood and Index roofing felt to replace the rubbish that was supplied. All of the above is my opinion only.
