The perfect play space for your little one to enjoy their time outdoors, this Snug Playhouse from Mercia is sure to give them years of entertainment.
This walls of this wendy house have been constructed using high quality interlocking shiplap tongue and groove cladding for a robust and durable build. This interlocking design prevents water ingress and creates a rigid structure. The roof and floor are made from quality solid sheet board material, constructed of several layers of compacted orientated strands.
The quaint Georgian style windows are pre-fitted for safety during construction and feature sash framing to ensure the styrene remains firmly in place. Robust roofing felt, fixtures and fittings are all supplied as standard, alongside detailed instructions and manufacturer's recommendations to ensure a simple, stress free assembly process.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Good but instructions not so good
Overall the product is good and made with good quality materials. The instructions said to cut the felt at a particular measurement after the first cut I realised this was not right, luckily I hadn’t done the second recommended cut and managed to salvage the felt to cover the roof. Not right but should still be ok. I’m in the building industry so I know how to use a tape measure!!!
Also all the screws were packed in one bag so spent about 30 mins sorting these out into correct piles. Pretty easy to put put together , took approx 2.5 hours for 2 people to build and the same to paint. Made slight modification to door as the gap made it look unfinished . Fitted an architrave to close gap and help with bug infestation and sealed any floor gaps to wall panels

Disappointed
The Wendy house was delivered to the wrong house and when the delivery driver had to go and collect it finally arriving at the right place he was incredibly rude. The Wendy house looks lovely now it’s made, but my husband had to do a fair bit of redesign as a lot of the parts didn’t fit, e.g the window was too large for the frame there was a big gap between the top of the door and the house as it wasn’t straight.

Snug play house
Brought this for my grandchildren had no hinge on so the door blows open in the wind and gets wet. Also gap round the whole door so the rain gets in. Had play houses in the past no had this happen to them.

Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
