Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Ordered easily from the website, received texts from the delivery driver himself re. delivery date and time. Really prompt .
Greenhouse is fine, probably wouldn’t last 20 years , but perfect for growing some veg in the summer.

The item was delivered very quickly from order date every thing was there but took longer that it says on web site to put up the instructions was not very clear would be better if wood was mark with number or letter so new what went with what look nice now it put together

Fabulous Customer Services but shoddy greenhous
Bought the Greenhouse online and delived and installated within 2 weeks. We paid for installation as got Greenhouse in the sale hence the difference in price paid for installation. The Customer Service was excellent as a check was done where Greenhouse would go and if it would fit then we got a call back to say they could deliver and install 3 weeks early.
The Fitter came before 7am and it took him less than an hour and half to install. He was brilliant and very professional and can not be blamed for fitting a shoddy Greenhouse as manufacture error.
This is when the fun part started. The Greenhouse had so many gaps either between the wood or glass. Even rain was leaking inside. The Husband and l spent from Thursday installation date to today Tuesday painting it with a wood treatment and using a sealant round all the gaps. Unfortunately due to a uneven base floor the Cold will sip in there and we will have to think of something to rectify this, this is no fault of the Greenhousebut our ground. We have 3 sheds already and all bought for a similar price and we paid for installation and the quality of these 3 sheds is super hence all purchased from same supplier.
Hopefully our hard work will pay of and the Greenhouse will be adequate - See pics and judge for yourself

They had what I wanted in stock, unfortunately it was during covid season so the delivery isn’t here yet, 1st july. Not the companies fault, they where truthful with the expectation but I cannot review the delivery or product. Just that the site was easy to use, true on expected delivery and good email communications.

Reasonable for price.
Just finished assembling it. Took longer than expected (four afternoons), mostly due to applying two coats of protective woodcare inside and out before assembly, which, if you have the time I would highly recommend, as it can be applied into all the gaps, if you haven’t got time to do it all, I would definitely recommend doing the roof sections and opening window, then you can remove the protective film from the roof before fitting! Instructions are fairly straightforward. Would recommend fitting door trims after installing the door though, to get a better fit and seal. Some parts were missing: opening window casement stay, one turn button to secure door. Some bags of screws supplied extra. Problems; Roof fascias and finials did not line up correctly, finials also too long, which is a plus really, as they can be cut down to the right angle to line up. Roof sections did not line up (had to unscrew the front of one side from base, to align), no major issues though. I also have noticed that the four lower corner sections are left exposed, the pictures show a long rectangular trim to hide the ends of the five lengths of timber but, however, they don’t show in the parts list anyway!? One plus, I was supplied, in error, with two shed floors of different sizes, (ok if you’ve got room to store them!) which I’m sure will come in handy! Overall, Ok but not fantastic. Managed to assemble on my own, with help from a couple of clamps!

Attractive 4' x 6' Greenhouse
I wanted a greenhouse, but one that looks nice too, and this fitted my idea. After researching and reading reviews, many of them poor, I took the chance and still decided to buy this greenhouse. The instructions were really bad (picture and wording), but I've recently built a 10' x 8' metal shed, so this seemed easier by far! The timber was good and flat (not like a lot of the reviews saying it was warped, cracked, or missing). However, I am short of a door reveal, but the supplier insists that all pieces were delivered and I can't be chasing for a small piece of wood which I can buy from a local supplier! I believe that it would have been advantageous if the wood had been pre-drilled, as this added so much more time to building having to pre-drill and then find the correct screw to then re-align the pieces again to screw together. All in all I am extremely happy with my greenhouse (and to which I built by myself!). For the price, in my opinion, its a brilliant buy.

We purchased this green house this month to house a selection of tender plants
It was delivered on time
We painted all the bits first and the put it together. The instructions are not as good as they could be and this would help getting started as once you get going with the Windows it’s was easy to do. The other issue is some of the window strips that hold the plexi glass in place are the wrong size, we had to cut them to size. Some of the wood is also very rough and knotty. One last thing to note is the door also has to be shoved as it was to big for the opening . It’s a shame as this on the whole a good design and could go together in a morning with 2 people and a drill and electric screw driver.

What a lot of bits!
I thought this would be simple, four walls and a roof, I didn't realise how many bits of wood there would be, and that we would have to put the windows in ourselves. In fact, there were so many bits of wood, that we didn't need them all. Except we did, as we had to block some gaps where bits didn't meet properly. Useful to have all those extra screws to add to our supplies too. There were even some packs of screws we hadn't opened.
Now it's all together and painted ( I painted it before assembling), it looks very cute, but it was hard work.

Small stylish greenhouse
Easy-to-follow instructions but we have had to use extra wooden batons to keep the greenhouse watertight. Rain comes in through the window as there are gaps even when it is closed. Other edges have needed extra silicone as the sides don’t meet. My first greenhouse. A good size inside for my purposes and it was a speedy delivery after ordering. Thank you.

Bits missing!
I ordered the shed and it arrived with bits missing...and RD were very understanding and courteous...but yet to have a resolution from Mercia the supplier. I have asked for my order to be upgraded to the 6x6ft which I’m happy to pay for...but would like a contribution for installation costs? Also...the 6x6 shed has gone up by £30...which I don’t really want to pay...as the delay was not of my making.

Looks okay
We put this up a week ago. The instructions were hard to figure out sometimes. There are a few bits that seem to be missing for example on the picture the bottom 5 pieces of T&G do not meet at the corners and there were no other parts left, so we will need to do something to make it look better and protect it as the end grains are exposed. The perspex windows are very flimsy and had to be siliconed in (no silicone supplied) but that was no hardship I suppose if you have some in the garage. Now it is up it looks okay.

Greenhouse - Pieces broke
I bought this greenhouse has i was looking for something affordable, and wooden for my garden. It came when it was supposed to, due to the weather it could not be put up straight away. Upon opening it we found the perspex for the roof was broken, at the same corner. Ive tried to contact but 'due to covid' lines are constantly busy. Other than that it seems a good greenhouse i would however say its a little expensive for what it is.

ok for the price but very tatty pieces of timber
I ordered this a few weeks ago and fair enough we have the covid 19 outbreak so delivery was delayed. We were only informed of delivery on the day and the lorry driver would not come down our lane, even though it is accessible for bin lorries, oil tankers and builders lorries. So we had to walk it down piece by piece from the main road - about 200 mtrs.
The instructions could be clearer and the uprights for the windows were 10mm too long. Several lengths were warped and split. If it were not for the outbreak we would have returned the whole lot for a refund. We had to supply some extra bits to cover the uprights, on the panels next to the door in fact the whole thing is poor quality. We managed to assemble it after nearly 3 whole days and now it is modified (extra coverings) and painted, it looks ok.

Wooden green 6’ x 4’
Although greenhouse looks nice now it took 5 people to put it together & the wood sections were not labelled they all had to be measured to see what fitted where also the instructions were very difficult to understand. The frame was very warped also would not recommend buying to anyone.

Awful experience
We both this on 29 March. We waited a couple of weeks for it to be delivered. It arrived with three parts damaged and then we later discovered parts were missing (six in total, but critically including a whole window).
We contacted both Robert Dyas and as they were slow to respond, Merica directly. We were promised replacement parts in three weeks (!), which was longer than buying the greenhouse in the first place. We still don't have our replacement parts and the greenhouse is unbuildable.
Buy another make from someone else, this has been an ordeal so far and is far from being sorted.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
