Bought this for my husband who was happy enough playing with it initially. Only tried onions - first a whole one and found the blades had trouble - then one half onion. The result felt half hearted at best. Shudder to think what would happen to a tomato. Maybe good for children or when time and shape are no consideration, but I believe an adult can do a quicker and neater job with a knife. The contraption lives in the back of the cupboard now probably waiting for another chance to redeem itself.

Tried to cut just half an onion and it jammed after one push, tried to in jam it and it just fell a part. Would not recommend you waste your money on it, not even worth one star.
