Beetroot Detroit 2 (Beta vulgaris) is an easy to grow and very tasty plant. Use it as baby or mature beets. Perfect for a variety of dishes and cooking styles.
They are an excellent source of folate and a good source of potassium. Roast, boil, pickle or use raw for many different dishes.
You can harvest these plants from July to October. They thrive best in partial sunlight and like a well-cultivated and fertile soil for maximum growth.
