Chard Bright Lights (Beta vulgaris) is easy to grow and produces incredibly colourful crops of great tasting stems and leaves. An excellent source of vitamin C the stems can be enjoyed steamed or stir-fried with the leaves acting like spinach when cooked.
You can harvest these plants from June to November. They thrive best in full sunlight and like a well-drained soil for maximum growth.
