The Merlin Bath Seat is supplied in three sizes. This is the largest, 12" version. A useful aid for anyone who finds it difficult to sit down at the bottom of the bath, it makes bathing much easier and more comfortable. Made from sturdy PVC, it has a slatted surface to allow for easy drainage and it attaches to the bath by means of suckers which help keep it securely in position. These can be removed easily using the quick release tabs attached.

Great item for my needs.
I have fibromyalgia and find it hard to shower, as I only have a shower fitted over my bath. I purchased this after Google searching bath support chairs. Robert Dyas was the only retailer to sell this item, apart from a medical supply company. It was priced a little cheaper with Robert Dyas and the delivery time was quicker. Buying of the item online was very straightforward, as was the communication emails from Robert Dyas. Unfortunately the delivery was not good. The delivery driver didn’t knock on my door, they just posted a card through and drove off. Later that day my partner was able to drive to the local shop that they had left the parcel. The parcel was in terrible condition. It had been battered and resealed with DPD’s own tape. Luckily the bench inside was undamaged. It was already put together. It was very sturdy. My partner placed it in the bath and the suckers were stuck well. Since using the bench I have been able to shower alone. The bench does not move at all. It is very strong and I feel confident using it. The only negative is that it is a little bit short, it’s shorter than the sides of the bath; which is great for ensuring the water stays in, but you need to have the strength in your legs to get up and down, unless you have grab handles already. Overall a solid 9/10 for me.
