How to use a washing machine
Seperate your white wash from your darks, load your washing machine, pour washing detergent into the cap provided, half a cap is enough, put your detergent into the drum. You can add a fabric softener too but it's not essential. Use the settings on the machine, a 30 degree wash will help you save on energy and reduce your bills. Once finished the door will unlock and you can remove your clothes. Top tip: leave the door slightly open after to dry out the door and prevent mould.
How to clean an air fryer the right way
Unplug your appliance and make sure it's completely cool, take out any removeable parts like baskets. Use a non-abrasive sponge to clean the parts in warm water with washing up liquid. For baked-on grime, apply a paste of bicarbonate of soda and either water or white vinegar, and leave for half an hour before rinsing. Use a soft-medium bristle brush for any grime that won't easily come off. Clean with fresh water and leave to dry.
How to descale a kettle
Limescale can damage both the inside and outside of your kettle. It will boil slower, using more energy and increasing your bills. Kilrock Descaler solves this problem very simply.
Half fill your kettle with water, bring it to a boil, pop it in your sink and carefully add a dose of the Kilrock Descaler, it will fizz for 5 minutes. Once stopped, empty it out, fill with fresh water and bring it to a boil again, then flush it through with clean water and you'll be good to go.
