Weeds Gone
It's a 'can't do without product' which kills weeds and roots in awkward places like cracks in paving. Brilliant, does what is says on the tin. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Gone, gone, gone
I bought this primarily to burn off weeds growing through my patio slabs, but soon realised it works on lawn weeds too. Leaves a bit of scorching but grass soon grows again. No dandelions, couch grass or thistle now. Great product.

Animal safe weed control
This is a handy size and very portable, the lead is quite short for my largish garden, but it has done a good job controlling patio weeds. As the instructions state the weeds need several treatments, but it has even made a difference to mare's tails. I don't know how robust it will turn out to be, hence only 4 stars, but I am finding it useful, and no need to worry about poisoning wildlife.

Easy to put together and use
I was a bit anxious about using it, but i put it together myself, my husband had to put the nozzle on the end as it was a tight fit (and it says this in the instructions). Have tried it out on weeds on the patio. It takes time, but i don’t have to bend. Not had time to see long term results of using it.

good for some applications
I found this weed burner very useful for getting rid of weeds in my patio, quick and efficient, also good for the back.
However, on my block brick driveway the heat was absorbed by the bricks and took a long time to destroy the weeds, it really was not powerful enough for this job.

Definitely a lot quicker than doing this by hand, would like another nozzle so you can get nearer to the weed in corners of brickwork but overall pleased with my purchase

Saves so much effort
I bought this a month ago. It kills weeds about as well as digging them out or using weedkiller ie it works well but new weeds grow back within a few weeks. The great benefit of the burner is that it saves bending, which is brilliant given I have a bad back.

no chemicals
I have used this twice now and yes it does work a little slow but gets rid of weeds without using chemicals. It does get very hot so must be handled carefully both during use and after use. The cable is not very long so a suitable heavy duty extension lead is required for using at a distance from the power outlet. An suitable safety device like RCD is also required as per instructions

Limited in scope
It is light, easy to assemble, and looks reasonably put together. But it is limited for its purpose. It is necessary to use it very slowly and even then at least 50% of weeds regrow. By comparison to some other similar products the cable length is not bad but an extension cable is still needed. Not very good on weeds but proved useful to heat up and soften some cold lay asphalt.

Really looking forward to using this.....,
Used once - then it packed up! Worked brilliantly for thirty minutes or so, rested for a while - after following instructions - re started work - minimal heat - and stopped working. Am currently in process of contacting supplier for advice
