Just the ticket
I have been looking for this bulb for a long time. Other shops just said "NO CANNOT GET IT ANYMORE" but the people at your shop in Lakeside Thurrock went out of their way to research it, order it and I picked it up within a few days. I cannot praise the staff there enough, they are always helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

Great product
Bought 4 when I only needed 2 for my new bedroom lights. Staff were very helpful and I returned no problem. Bulbs work great and make the room bright and cosey. Worth the money.

No to The Pound Shop????
Whilst I can say the £1 Shop has some great products, you cannot compare to light bulbs. I brought 3 from Robert Dyas to replace my soon to burn out buys & I must say the clarity & light are much much better & with a 2 year guarantee- what more can I say - quality.

Great bulb, handle with care
I got this bulb as it was specified for a bedside touch-lamp (a glass cube) that has three brightness settings, and it works perfectly well for this (and LEDs don't, apparently). At the lowest setting it resembles a tealight, and at brightest (40W equivalent) it is OK to read by for a short while. I've deducted one star because the packaging doesn't make it very clear that you're not supposed to handle the bulb without a cloth or gloves to prevent grease getting on the glass.

Will monitor how long it lasts
Needed a replacement of a bulb for lighting over a bathroom mirror. The Osram is quite expensive but if it really will last 2 yrs as the packaging says it will I can accept that price. If not I want to find an alternative. the Robert Dyas staff were very helpful, but when aren't they.
