This traditional charcoal barbecue by Outback includes a removable grill section for an optional pizza stone or griddle/skillet plate and it is a great choice to get an authentic BBQ experience and for that smokey chargrilled taste.
With a cooking area of 57cm, the Comet Charcoal Kettle Barbecue has a porcelain enamel body and hood as well as a removable ash collector which combined gives this BBQ heat retention and makes it easy to clean.
The built in temperature gauge in the hood and the adjustable air vents, enable you to monitor the cooking temperature and control the air flow, giving you better cooking results every time.

Very pleased!
Bought this online and found the ordering process to be straightforward with a very competitive price and it arrived well inside the expected delivery period. It took two of us to unpack and work through the instructions but it was simple to put together and the end result is a very stylish and functional BBQ. The set up for cooking is just as you would expect and I really like the small bucket that is attached to collect the ash - this makes the cleaning process really easy. I’m happy to endorse this as a nice bit of kit and would highly recommend.

More practice needed
We need to practise more as we have twice, after several hours waiting for cooking heat, resorted to the oven with the kettle being a keeping-warm device only. We'll start by trying different coals from those bought via Dyas. The product itself is stylish and has a great capacity

You pays your money...
Not as good as the last Outback BBQ I had. The last one survived 6 years of frequent use. First impressions weren't good as a screw was missing, not the end of the world I know but annoying all the same.
The brackets used to support the charcoal grate and the cooking grill are a little bit on the short side, they're also a bit flimsy so they have an annoying habit of slipping off the brackets.
I'll probably stump up and buy a Weber next time, can't see this one lasting more than about a year.
