FAQs

How to Clean a Garden Hot Tub?

After each use, it’s important you clean any tidelines with a damp cloth and check the pH levels and sanitiser. Its recommended you clean your garden hot tub filter weekly, check the pH levels, and shock dose it (add a higher level of oxidiser chemical to the water) to control bacteria growth and clean away any residue left by bathers. Some outdoor hot tubs don’t use chlorine, so make sure you check which cleaning materials are best for yours!

How Long Does a Hot Tub Take to Heat Up?

A typical hot tub can take between 8 to 15 hours to heat up, though it could be longer or shorter depending on weather conditions and the model of garden hot tub you opt for. If you’re planning on relaxing in it after work, start heating it up at the beginning of the day.

How to Get a Hot Tub in the Garden?

Hot tubs are big bits of garden furniture and outdoor living, so naturally you’d be wondering how they’re installed. It’s actually fairly simple. They can be wheeled through your garden gate sideways, for ease of access. Don’t worry, our delivery team will do all of this for you.

What Can I Put under my Inflatable Hot Tub?

Using a ground cloth or air mat under your inflatable hot tub will both help with heat insulation and protection from punctures.

How to Clean Mould from an Inflatable Hot Tub?

First, try to scratch or brush loose any of the mould or algae. Loosening it like this will help with the next steps. Use a large soft brush or sponge, and for smaller areas even a toothbrush. Use a cleaning solution – you can find some in our hot tub accessories – to disinfect the areas. Make sure you do this properly, as the bacteria could come back sooner than expected. Make sure you also clean the cover and any other contact points where water may be sheltered. Dry them on in the sun before you use the inflatable hot tub again.
