Outdoor Heating

Heating is the key to entertaining and relaxing outdoors when it’s getting a bit chilly. We have some great gas-powered patio heaters, which are the most focused source of heat, and we also have wood burners, fire pits and chimineas to give you that radiant, warm glow and the aromas to go with it.

FAQs

How to turn on an outdoor gas heater

This depends on the model of heater you’re using. Turning on a gas garden heater is like turning on a gas stove, in some cases. Once it is assembled and set-up correctly, simply push in the ignition dial to get the gas flowing, and then engage the spark or temperature scale to light it. However, some products use an electric ignition, making your outdoor heater very easy to turn on.

Can outdoor heaters be left out in the rain?

Whilst technically you can leave your outdoor heater out in the rain because it is safe to do so, its recommended that you don’t. Constant rainfall and weather conditions can lead to rust and deterioration, which could affect the appearance and performance of your garden heater. We do offer ranges of all-weather covers for our outdoor heating products.

Do outdoor gas fireplaces give off heat?

Of course! There are no faux flames with our outdoor heating options. Powered by gas with easy ignition, our products give off real heat with real fire. Faux flames may look pretty, but nothing beats the authentic cosiness of enjoying a warm fire with those closest to you.
