Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed on first use. I received this product as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. This was the first time I had used such a product and I was very surprised. It is very effective and you can see the results in the sink. It is an unusual experience at first (similar to a good clean at the dentist) but once you find a comfortable setting for yourself, then you are good to go for daily use. It has several settings from a continuous jet to an intermittent one with an air and water mixture. It is quick to charge and it last for many uses. It comes with a couple of detachable heads allowing for hygienic sharing of the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to dental floss I have been using the oral irrigator for 7 days which I received from panasonic as part of the Panasonic reviewer programme. The product arrives very well, packaged and is supplied with 2 changeable heads . The charging station is supplied with a 2 pin plug only so an adaptor would have been a nice addition to the product. We have in the past used floss to clean in between our teeth however we find it in effective and a bit of a chore. The ex1411h845 has four functions which are Soft, regular, jet, interdental, Of these four functions the regular was my preferred choice as it cleaneed as very well and the water lasted a while longer so you could get a really good clean between re fills The interdental function has a slight delay between jetsix so you can target areas of your teeth with ease, The charge is very good and has lasted for 7 days with 2 people using it morning and night, The unit is easy to hold its slightly larger than an electronic toothbrush, the e water chamber is filled via a inlet similar to an iron, Using the irrigator is easy you select your desired function then place in your mouth and switch on and get cleaning We found that using the irrigator prior to brushing your teeth was the mosthird effective Overall I would buy this product if you can buy replacement heads for it you can use it forother so in the household dependant on their ages ( teenagers etc) It's easy to use ,charges last for a few days, and it does give your teeth and gums a cleaner feeling ,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bye Bye Flossing! I was sent this item by the nice people at Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. Considering I had never heard of a Rechargeable Oral Irrigator, I'm so pleased they did! I have always found flossing a fiddly task that just has to be done. I even tried the floss with the handle built in (Ironic that they resemble a hand saw). I find the Irrigator so much better and easier to use! The end result is a much healthier feeling mouth. After irrigating I tend to use the Air In mode for, as I see it, a nice gum massage. As it comes with a 2 pin shaver plug I have now fixed the docking unit to the bathroom wall so it's always to hand. I wouldn't be without it now and if anything ever happened to it I would immediately buy a new one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very useful product. I was given this product to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. On opening the packaging it became apparent that the only way to charge it was through either a dedicated shaver socket or an adaptor, as per the instruction it takes 15 hours to charge and it is worth pointing out that the charging light does not go out when it is fully charged. The instructions are clear and the various functions fully explained. However they do not fully prepare you for the user experience which I found initially very messy. After a few experiments with it things became a lot easier and the various functions make it effective at cleaning between the teeth and around the gums. this negates the need to floss. The ability to use warm water is useful and the only slight negative is the size of the water tank although any increase would probably make the whole unit unwieldy. On the whole and with practice I find this product fulfils it's intended purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Teeth feel squeaky clean I was given the EW1411 Rechargable Oral Irrigator by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic reviewer program.  You get the main unit, charging base with a 2 pin (shaver socket type) plug, nozzles, instructions and even screws are included for wall mounting. Good clear instructions on use, charging, cleaning, care and trouble shooting. Having tried all the settings, I really like it, there are 4 settings with some options you may use occasionally. You will need to fill the water tank (which can be removed for cleaning) repeatedly but less so with the interdental setting (as this uses less water) . If you have sensitive teeth, you will want to use lukewarm water. I tried all the settings, and got a bit wet as did my bathroom. I really like the interdental setting for daily morning/night use, you place the nozzle in your mouth aiming towards area on gum line between teeth, keeping lips as closed around nozzle as you can, and then press the button to start, it shoots water and then there is a short break for you to move to next tooth and then shoots water again. You can feel it shooting the water between your teeth and movement of any debris. I have found that you need to Make sure you TURN OFF while still in your mouth, and delay taking it out of mouth until you are sure it is off otherwise you will find it squirting water at you and around your bathroom! At the moment, I floss my teeth, use this with warm water (as chilled from tap was too cold for my sensitive back teeth) and then brush my teeth. So you are left with the nice minty flavour. I also use the "air in" option for going along my gum line. I can't believe the amount of debris that comes out of teeth with this, it's great. Would recommend. My teeth look and feel so clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I'd had one of these ten years ago. Highly recommended Panasonic EW1411 Rechargeable Oral Irrigator. I was interested in this device because I have recurrent gum disease but because my teeth are very uneven I have to use several different sized interdental brushes and it's a faff. The device arrived in quite a chunky box - I think I was expecting something the size of an electric toothbrush. Delighted to see on the side of the box that it's recommended for teeth that have drifted together because that's another problem I have. Inside it was packed in moulded plastic which had ripped slightly - if I had to return it, I think I might have needed to reinforce it in some way. The device itself is like a fat electric toothbrush, to accommodate a water tank and presumably a much bigger motor. It came with an instruction book, two nozzles (so another person can use it) a charging stand and screws to fasten the charging stand to the wall. The instructions are clear so it didn't take long to set it up and charge the battery. Because the red indicator light on the device doesn't change colour when it's fully charged I left it for longer than the 15 hours suggested - going on for 36 until I reread the instructions! Learning how to use it was fun. The instructions are very clear but because it's not a familiar process it's hard to get your head around it. If you have teeth that are in any way sensitive, use warm water the first time you try it and on the intermittent setting so you have longer to play around with it before the tank needs refilling. Expect lots of water everywhere and to have to play around with it for a while until you get the hang of it. I used You Tube - lots of very helpful videos there to help you. Now I have got the hang of it, it's great. Teeth are cleaner. Keep it in the kitchen because no spare sockets in the bathroom - use it after every meal, instead of toothpicks. I was given the product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice quality product for those who like extra clean teeth I was given this product to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer program. The product comes well packaged with charger, two nozzles, instructions and charger. The initial charge is long at 15 hours. The unit is quite wide around 3 or 4 times the size of a normal electric toothbrush, but it comfortable to hold with rubber and fairly light. Once ready to go I made the initial mistake of trying to look where the nozzle was pointed by having my mouth open (this just sprayed water everywhere!). Then I did it correctly with an closed mouth. There are four different modes with air (soft and regular), jet and interdental. The are all powerful and removes debris well. It is better to use slightly warmer water as cold water my it slightly uncomfortable (this may just be if you have more sensitive teeth.). You tend to have spit out the water a few times as your mouth fills up with water. The reservoir needs to be filled up to finish the full clean. All in a all a very good product and the unit is very sturdy.
