Panasonic DJ40 Rechargeable Oral Irrigator - Superb!
I've used the Panasonic DJ40 Rechargeable Oral Irrigator for a few days now and I'm getting used to using it. This is my first time of using an irrigator and I found the first attempt to be a bit difficult with water spraying everywhere, however the more I used the Irrigator the easier it became. I've only had the irrigator for a few days, but I really enjoy the clean feel that it gives you. The sensation I get from using the irrigator is just like being at the dentist and having a good clean! The machine is easy to use, all you have to do it plug in and charge. Whilst charging the battery reflects a red light. The red light doesn't change, so you are really not sure if it's fully charged or not (I was expecting for the light to change from red to green). You charge the irrigator for at least 8 hours and then away you go! The switches are easy to use, just slide up and slide down. The machine has 2 speeds. One speed setting is pretty powerful the other speed setting is for sensitive teeth. I've been using the powerful setting which I like. It's a smart looking machine with easy to use instructions and easy to hold. I now prefer using a irrigator to flossing, as it really gives me that sensation of having a really good clean - just like being at the dentist. I really love this machine and will always use it. Overall a well-made easy to use machine, with clear easy to follow instructions. I was given this product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme.

Good Oral irrigator
I was given the Oral irrigator as a part of the Panasonic reviewer program. The product arrived well packaged, and the box is well presented, with clear pictures, of what the product does. It is a relatively simple device, comfortable to hold, with an easy to fill tank, it is then ready to start, just slide the on switch, but make sure it is in your mouth with your lips closed. The Oral Irrigator has two modes, one for normal cleaning and one for gum massage. Before I used to clean my teeth with a dental floss and I quite often had bleeding gums as a result. With this irrigator it is has already decreased the bleeding of my gums, and the gum massage felt refreshing. After cleaning my teeth, my mouth felt much fresher and cleaner. A real plus is the simple and compact packaging of the device which makes it easy take with you when travelling. I would recommend it is used with lukewarm water, as I found the cold water a bit hard for a teeth. All in all a good product and very well made.

Pleasantly effective
I was given this product by Panasonic for review purposes. To be honest it is not something I would have bought for myself as I was unaware they existed. After the first few attempts which resulted in water all over me and the bathroom I got the hang of it. Having lost several crowns to flossing, this is much easier on my teeth and much more efficient. I do have very sensitive gums so have to be careful but I will use this every other day and when that annoying piece of food gets stuck. All in all I am pleasantly surprised how effective it is.

It changed my way of cleaning teeth.
I was given the Panasonic DJ40 Rechargeable Oral Irrigator by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme. Package arrived with well carefully packed and the product in the box was well protected as well. I charged over night for full charge, it said it takes 8 hours to be full. This was my first oral irrigator and to be honest I had no idea how it would work. At the first time, water got splashed everywhere because I opened my mouth though I quickly learnt that I need to put a nozzle in my mouth and close my mouth. Result from the first use was impressive. Teeth were noticeably whiter and shinier and any debris left. In first use, I had a bit of breeding, I thought the water pressure was strong even in lower setting however there was no breed from second use, I think it was necessary breeding as I get it when I use dental flossing. I found using oral irrigator is much easier and no pain than dental floss. It is very simple to fill the tank. Full tank of water last approx 40 seconds, I normally refill 5 times to finish whole mouth though it could be less as I get used to it more. What I like the most on top of performance is the nozzle can be stored in the body and looks neat and tidy when it's not in use. I like the colour of the body which is white and silver, that makes the product look clean. One charge last quite long time I think, after 10days from the first charge and been using it every other night and it hasn't needed to recharge. Overall, it's a great product and changed my way of cleaning teeth. I enjoy using the EW-DJ40 Oral Irrigator and I will keep using it.

Compact easy to travel with
I was given the product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme. This is the first oral irrigator I have ever used. I can only compare it to my previous dental flossing experience. This water jet appliance is much more efficient, no more floss getting stuck in between teeth. My teeth are very close and everything gets stuck in between, especially if I eat pork. I tested the appliance with the nastiest food blockage between my teeth and I was impressed. All residue and meat fibres were completely removed with no pain and no bleeding as opposed to dental flossing. This is a whole new experience. I started using it as my everyday routine in the evening. Lovely to have a totally clean mouth with no effort and no damage to the gums. Very hygienic solution to all that suffer from very closely packed teeth. The only downside I would mention, I expected the red light to turn green when the appliance is fully charged. All my other equipment does that and I can easily tell when it is ready to use. Overall a very positive experience. Happy to have found a gadget that will potentially improve the longevity of my teeth. Packaging is neat. Comfortable to hold. Easy to switch on when held in the mouth. I love the fact the water tank is collapsible and must be easy to travel with.

Easy to use and improves gum health
I was given the Panasonic DJ40 Rechargeable Oral Irrigator by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme. This is the third Oral Irrigator / Water Flosser that I have owned and I have found the EW-DJ40 to be an outstanding performer. Why do I use an oral irrigator? Well, my teeth have very little space between them and I find flossing difficult if not impossible and as a result my gum health was suffering. My gums had a tendency to bleed, but since I have been using an oral irrigator this is a thing of the past and now my dentist comments on how healthy my gums are. My first water flosser was of a different make and, although successful, was poorly built and didn't last. I then bought the Panasonic EW 1411 which I found to be of much better quality and highly effective - I did however buy it because of the 4 mode water jet and find that I only really use one mode! My experience with the EW-DJ40 has also been very positive. It arrived well packaged with virtually all of the packaging being recyclable - the first plus point. The user manual was easy to follow with clear instructions and illustrations, but I do find it a waste that, being a multi language publication, only 12 pages of a 207 page booklet were in my chosen language! However, what about the product itself? The biggest advantage over my current EW1411 is the compactness and usefulness as a travel item. The functional part of the irrigator pushes down into the water tank when not in use and the nozzle has it's own storage place in the unit; this makes it great to drop into your case when travelling, it also means the water tank is larger. Whilst the EW1411 is possibly more pleasing on the eye and sleeker in design it has a separate base and takes up more room when packing. The DJ40 has two modes normal and soft which is more than adequate. If you want good looks and features buy the EW1411, for practicality and ease of use buy the DJ40, they are both great machines to use.

Excellent quality product
I was given this product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme. It was comfortable to hold and not too heavy even when full of water. Would recommend using on lower speed until familiar with controls as water pressure quite strong. Left my mouth feeling very fresh. Easy to clean and held charge well. Neat and compact size. Excellent visually informative packaging.

Would definitely recommend it to everyone!
I was given the product by Panasonic to review as part of the Panasonic Reviewer programme. The device arrived very well packed and with clear user instructions in many languages. It was my first oral irrigator which I have ever used and I was actually really surprised how good it feels after using it! It definitely feels much more pleasant when it is used with warm water. The stream doesn't feel too strong, but at the same time it's strong enough to clean everything what is not possible to clean using toothbrush. It took some time to learn how to reach back part of the tooth and in what position device should be hold but it's not something impossible! :) I was using it now for 10 days every morning and evening and I like the effect which I am seeing! Tooth looks cleaner and more white! Would definitely recommend it. The only one thing which is maybe missing is any bag where it could be packed when travelling. But overall it's a really great device!
