It works!
Bought this 4 weeks ago. I hate flies in my kitchen, so I put a little hook in the ceiling and suspended it from there. I have taken it down every week and each time it has done it's job and caught quite a few flies. Plus it is easy to empty.

Well priced, feels well made, a bit wonky
I bought this a few months ago and it has done a nice job dealing with a few mosquitos. Does the job, but the only real downside is that since it's quite light, it can fall over because the cable sits out from it a bit. But, it's good.

Doesn’t include fungus gnats
Didn’t work on fungus gnats. I bought it because we have a problem with fungus flies around our plants. In the morning I opened up the bottom to find multiple hanging around in the bottom, perfectly healthy.
I might use it in the summer when the flies are prevalent but it’s useless for a few months.

Low lifespan makes for wasteful product
Sad to have to write this review as the product itself works amazing for moths and other tiny flying creatures that come as the sun goes down. (Flies less so, but we didn't buy it for flies so no problem there.)
Unfortunately, the product's lifespan is nowhere near the 8000 hours stated, and is highly unpredictable when the point in time comes that it does not turn on anymore. I know because after we had four units spread out across family members, one simply stopped working after a year, another unit lasted 6 months, and a third just 3. This is not the sort of thing you can fix yourself or recycle, so both the investment in the unit price and the amount of electronic waste goes up. I'm now begrudgingly looking for another product elsewhere that will be as effective at this one but will actually last the time promised by the manufacturer.

Don't buy it doesn't work. No stars...
I do not recommend this. It worked moderately well only. The larger flies and bluebottle were not interested or affected by it. It caught a few small flies and moths but after about two weeks the light failed and it no longer works. I changed the fuse but that did nothing. I assume the bulb has blown. So useless basically. Don't buy.

Doesn’t seem to attract flies
Looks good but not effective , bought at Robert Dyas as my conservatory had small flies about , still about and tray had very small number after 3 months

Hasn't worked for me
I had hoped this would solve a problem I have with flies in my kitchen. I'm disappointed to say it hasn't attracted any flies at all. The flies are ignoring the light and buzzing around the windows.

Rubbish!
Well it’s a blue light, but that is where it ends! Instruction says have the lamp high up but the flex isn’t very long so unless you have an extension lead that’s impossible. We actually left a window open to attract flies to the lights (I bought two) and they did absolutely nothing. Waste of money!.
