Info: - Moulded bands are created by pouring liquid latex into a mould and letting it harden. Moulded bands are a weaker band because of what we call the matrix effect. - Layered bands (Like our ones) are formed by bonding multiple layers together with a strong epoxy that is heated. This creates a much stronger matrix bond. If a layered band gets a slight cut along the side of the band, it will not tear easily because there are multiple layers holding it together. If moulded bands get a slight cut, they will tear like a piece of paper because it is all one piece. Resistance Band set - really good buy
Really useful fitness kit & so good that it includes the door anchor, handles & ankle straps. All colour coded with a leaflet telling what each colour resistance weight is so don't lose this piece of paper!
I can imitate some exercises that I used to do in a gym on gym equipment using the door anchor. Great for tricep pulldown like the tricep rope equipment I loved in the gym.
If you've never been to a gym you could watch you tube vids on types of exercises. Resistance bands require you to know about various exercises to get the best use out of them but there are plenty of tutorials online. Great for general stretching & physio if you need something gentler but also provides great resistance for more advanced exercises. It makes you use you're imagination on ways to use them.
This band kit is a great buy which I hope lasts a long time as its a kind of rubber type material so not likely to last forever but depends on use. Great for arm muscle exercises & I really like delt raises with these bands as it gives the perfect amount of resistance. I sometimes find it harder to get good form with dumbbells for delts.
Good price & I highly recommend this resistance band kit.
