The Rowlinson Alderley Rattan Storage Bench cleverly combines outdoor seating with storage.
The Alderley Storage Bench is constructed from weatherproof rattan effect weave around a sturdy hardwood timber frame that is also pre-painted in a contemporary grey wash with lacquer finish.
The large under-seat storage compartment is accessed via the lift-up seat and has an approximate capacity of 150 litres, making this an attractive, yet functional place to sit and enjoy your garden.

Really useful rattan effect bench and storage for our balcony. Looks good. Seat and cushion great. Easy to put cushion away and room enough to store a small foldup table too.

Neat and functional storage solution
I have been exploring storage options in my small conservatory for a while and stumbled upon this rattan style bench. It fulfills my brief of being able to house all my tools neatly and retaining easy access to them at all times, plus I now have a useable seating space for those sunnier days when I wish to laze around and read a book.
The bench is stylish is a contemporary grey colour, and as an added bonus comes with a padded cushion. The structure is sturdy and fairly comfy too.
The only negatives I came across whilst building this (by myself) one of the hinges pre-drilled holes was off and I needed to adjust to get the seat to sit and open, however I did this in minimal time. I would also question the order of assembling from the instructions as the side panels needed to be added earlier than instructed.
All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Patience required
I found this quite difficult to assemble. To make life easier the side panels need to go on before the arms and several of the screw holes were obscured by tightly bound rattan. Now it is finally made I am pleased with it and it looks good. You just need time and patience to assemble it.

Disappointed to say the least!
Bought this on the 9th June only for the pop rivets holding the bracket onto the seat base to snap! The seat base has also scored the arm rests when it opens because it’s badly made. Instructions on how to assemble were followed so not down to my assembly skills either.
