Very strong and easy to assemble also good wood
I bought this in September and my husband was very pleased with its easiness to assemble. It is of a very high quality wood and has good hinges at the top that allows you to keep it partially open without it falling down. I am very happy with this product and looking forward to putting my young plants in it.

Great little coldframe
This is the second of these mini greenhouse/cold-frames that I have bought. They are easy to put together, very sturdy and offer good protection to tender plants over the winter. Excellent value

On time and just the perfect present
The coldframe arrived on time and was the perfect birthday present for someone committed to growing their own seedlings. The wood frame is very attractive and appears sturdy. It is also very easy to assemble. Happy all round!

Good product but too many delivery dates and times
Product good quality, but a few faults, sheered blot and door magnets not catching the door plates. Rowlinson sent replacements straight away.
Delivery dates and times kept changing, 6 or 7 changes, I lost track!

Great design but arrived damaged.
I love the design of the grow house, the size and that it is made from hard wood. However, like other reviewers, although the box appeared in damaged it didn’t arrive in good condition and elements were broken or knocked about. If it had been left up to me I would have been asking for a replacement. However my partner was able to repair the damage to get it assembled so we didn’t bother. One joint was broken and part of the frame snapped. We also added a metal washer for the slide to open the top up. It looks good now it’s all fixed but sadly I wouldn’t recommend buying again.

Hardly great quality
Arrived and on unboxing I noticed damage to hinge position which must have been noticed at manufacturing. Hinges and screws are poor quality but maybe adequate. Easy to assemble but as I couldn’t be bothered to return it I have glued and screwed and clamped hinge position. Potential design fault because it looks to me that the lid will fill and retain rain water as there is no escape I can see. Slightly less tall than I wanted but that’s my fault. We’ll see what this looks like after a Yorkshire winter.

not great
a bit flimsy , and the front doesn't shut , so have to lean heavy object against it to stop wind and squirell getting in . the top lid opens and you can fix it open , but it only opens a bit so hard to get pots in and out , it would be so much better if it opened right up to give it light and air on a sunny day . apart from those quite major design faults , its too low to that useful as the bottom shelf is so dark and and difficult to access , my fault totally . should have measured it properly, but no i dont recommend , spend a bit more on a taller one , or get a cheaper one , this one looked like it was going to be more solid but wood thin and very light .

Arrived cracked, screw holes not aligned to hinges
The item arrived poorly packaged and one panel cracked. Customer service was good and they sent a new panel but it was hard to put together as the holes aren't aligned and doors don't shut properly. We had to drill new holes and hope they work. I was warned by past reviews but I needed something for my plants and didn't want to get a whole greenhouse. But this is poor quality for the price.

If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
