Overview
With room for up to 6 eggs, you can boil or poach eggs to perfection using this electric egg cooker from Salter. The 430-Watt cooker has a heating plate and a lid with a steam vent, plus a removable egg tray and two additional egg poachers that are easy to clean. Use the measuring cup to add the right amount of water and cook the eggs to your desired consistency in minutes. There is even an egg piercer to help prevent the eggs from breaking as they cook.

Measuring cup has a split in, doesnt keep water in
So disappointed, the measuring cup doesn't work as split on delivery. Really unhelpful chat with support team, told to look at instructions. Nowhere on instructions is there any mention of how much water is the equivalent measure for the type of egg i want to cook. as the measuring cup just says the type of egg. HELP im getting annoyed with the fact that i have this machine and cant use it

Great to have in any kitchen just found the discoloured water marks off putting only after a couple of uses but it still works just fine

Good all round.
By and large I am pleased with this Egg Boiler/Poacher. Like most modern items it is a bit flimsier than I expected, but it does the job well enough. I think the little cup to measure the water would be better if it were taller and narrower, to space the cailbrations more and make it easier to measure the exact amount of water needed (my old eggboiler had just such a measure, so I do speak with experience).

Good accurate levels for type of egg you want
We bought this a month ago and are disappointed as eggs continue to break/crack and make a mess even after using the tool provided to make hole in eggs before boiling
