Overview
With room for up to 6 eggs, you can boil or poach eggs to perfection using this electric egg cooker from Salter. The 430-Watt cooker has a heating plate and a lid with a steam vent, plus a removable egg tray and two additional egg poachers that are easy to clean. Use the measuring cup to add the right amount of water and cook the eggs to your desired consistency in minutes. There is even an egg piercer to help prevent the eggs from breaking as they cook.

A great product, also a VAP friendly!
Extremely convenient. No more messing up with water, finding the right saucepan and most importantly, getting the timing right. An additional disadvantage is that I have an electric hob which makes decreasing the heat impossible. I have sight impairment, therefore whilst buying the electric boiler, I was concern whether I will be able to get the amount of water right. However, with the sighted assistance and a talking measuring jag, I can do it that. I know how much water is required to get eggs soft, half or hard boiled depending on the number of eggs. I just measure the required amount of water in the jag and then transfer it into the heating plate. The egg boiler does the rest of the job for me! Having said all that, I haven't had a chance to try the egg poacher yet.

This little contraption has changed the way I cook eggs! No matter how many times I watch videos by professional chefs telling me how to make the perfect boiled egg or poached egg - I just can't do it right!
This device allows you, within 10-12 minutes to have the perfectly boiled or poached eggs ready to have on your toast, or however you like to eat your eggs! It's amazing, really easy to use with simple instructions for perfect poached or boiled eggs every time. Remove the amateur human ( that's me ) and just let the device do its job and it's a treat!

Good all round.
By and large I am pleased with this Egg Boiler/Poacher. Like most modern items it is a bit flimsier than I expected, but it does the job well enough. I think the little cup to measure the water would be better if it were taller and narrower, to space the cailbrations more and make it easier to measure the exact amount of water needed (my old eggboiler had just such a measure, so I do speak with experience).

If you choose to have your order delivered to your local store, it is completely free and will be delivered within 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays).
When your order arrives in your chosen store, we will e-mail you to advise that your order is ready for collection. Your order will be held in store for 7 days.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by one of the following methods:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Visit Your Local Robert Dyas Store
Whether you bought the product in store, online or over the phone, most of our products can be returned to a Robert Dyas stores. Please bring your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to return large or heavy products, including large kitchen appliances, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture etc to your local store. If in doubt of whether you should return a product to your local store, please contact customer services first.
