The Add & Weigh option on this scale saves precious time on washing up because you can now weigh multiple ingredients in a go using feature. To do this, simply set the scale to zero as you add each ingredient. Thanks to the Aquatronic function, there’s also no need to clutter your worktop with a measuring jug as this scale also allows you to measure liquids in ml or fl.oz. With an easy switch between the metric and imperial units (clearly shown on the LCD display), and a maximum weighing capacity of 5kg, you can now be the master of your kitchen. Accuracy is Important
I needed a reliable/accurate weighing scale as I do a lot of baking/bread making and the one I had before was not to be trusted. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this one to be very accurate, and easy to use.

Does what kitchen scales should do
Is exactly as i expected. My last scales would turn off very quickly which was irritating. Thesecones stay on long enough for you to sdd more ingredients or to empty one out the bowl and add another. No complaints.

Love this scales
When my sister was in her teens, she bought me a salter mechanical scales as a gift. She is now 61 and those scales are still in use most weeks, and no sign of them giving up the ghost yet. But, because I’m counting calories I needed something a little more precise.
Although there are many different makes on the market, there was no question, after past experience of their product, it had to be Salter.
I was not disappointed. These scales are just what I needed. I love the zero facility. It means that I can put a dish on there, zero it, then weigh for example cereal, and then zero it again, press ml, and it will measure the amount of milk too.
Absolutely fab. No need to use a jug and less dishes to wash.
It uses ordinary batteries that I can buy in the corner shop, so they are easier to replace.
It arrived earlier than the delivery date, so well chuffed.
My other scales hasn’t retired yet, and it’s coming up to its 43rd birthday.
So well done Salter.

one bowl, adding ingredients mix, pour bake.
So easy compared to my old scales. Add ingredients wet or dry weighs each one then mix in the bowl and pour into baking tin.
Simple, efficient and only one bowl to wash.
