The Salter 28cm Megastone Thermo Collar Stockpot has a unique cooking surface made from a high-quality hard stone coating which lasts 9x longer than your normal pot. Designed with new heat indicator technology to provide you with the optimum cooking temperature.
This pot has a handle which changes colour when it has reached the ideal temperature to cook, making meal time even easier. Crafted from four layers of PFOA free materials for long lasting quality with abrasion, scratch and corrosion resistance. This pot can be used with metal utensils.

Brilliant!
I can't fault this, love the fact the handles change colour and you can use metal utensils, used my metal blender in it no problem.

Great size
When I bought this pot I was looking forward to oven cooking but as I read the instructions I realised it wasn’t suitable for oven cooking. I ‘chatted’ online to ask about this and was told the coating wasn’t suitable for the oven and I also I realised the handles are also rubberised. I decided to keep the pot as the size is great and as I bought it online I shall be more careful in the future. i now cook on my stovetop and still do stews etc and the granite coating is perfect, nothing sticks to it. All in all a good buy

What's not to love?!
Cooking and cleaning are such joys with this amazing pot. It looks amazing too...that black granite effect.
Still early days but so far so great! Little oil, low or medium heat....all you need to make great meals and when it comes to cleaning, it is a breeze.

I first used this pot at my son's house. I liked it so much I bought one for myself. It lived up to expectations. Good quality. You can use metallic and wooden utensils with it. I am happy with my purchase.

Great size, easy to wash
Fabulous non-stick pan. I bought it on sale for those occaisions I wanted to make a large batch of stew or soup to freeze in portions for later and it's perfect. Early days but from my experience of using this pan so far, I highly reccomend it.
