Excellent and reliable, precision weighing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent for weighing small parcels where accuracy is important .The great thing I like about this is that if you place a bowl on it before turning it on, the weight will be shown as 0g, i.e. it will not count the weight of the bowl. Also you can add other ingredients to the same bowl as the machine allows you to reset the counter to zero even if you already have ingredients in the bowl already. Very handy. I like the design of this one, and especially the fact that it's so compact and fits in my kitchen drawer.

Just what I needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simple sleek design of these scales. Easy to store & even easier to use. As they are some, you can use any size bowl or container to weigh your ingredients with. Meaning less washing up. They are incredibly accurate and don't lag, causing you to pour more in than you need, only to have to scoop it out again & so on. The display turns on instantly and auto turns off, it's bright, clear & easy to read. It's a decent size too so squinting. It can be changed between metric & imperial with just one press of the button. I can't find a single negative to comment on.

A sleek product for the kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a slim, sleek design and is quite light weight. The tinted glass top not only adds to the looks, but is also very easy to clean and maintain. The scale is fairly simple to use and you can measure multiple products with a press of a button. I definately recommend this product as it is good value for money.

Very easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These kitchen scales are super easy to use as you can zero the weight at any time which means that if you have a recipe that needs multiple ingredients adding in one step you simply
1 turn the scales on
2 put the bowl on the scales
3 press the on switch again to zero the scales
4 measure your first ingredient into the bowl
5 press the on switch to zero the reading then measure the next ingredient into the bowl
6 repeat until all ingredients are measured
Both my wife and I have used these and both love them. They are small so don't take up much room in the cupboard which is another plus point.

So simple to use

They are small enough to be put away in a busy kitchen but big enough to use big bowls on it for weighing out ingredients. The design of these are very sleek and up to date. The fact that they came with batteries was an extra happy surprise. The scales are easy to use. Just 2 buttons to turn on and to change the weight means even I could use these. My 10 year old daughter loves to bake but is getting where she wants to do it on her own and with these she could so she was very happy. Very easy to clean, in fact we used a anti bacteria wipe for it.

Stylish and compact.

I used them to make cup cakes with just one bowl adding and weighing each ingredient with a perfect result.Imperial and metric option and liquid measurement is very useful.Very simple to switch between functions. Takes the stress out of baking!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Salter Electronic Scale, having used the product for the two weeks, I can honestly say it's a game changer when it comes to baking and cooking in the home! It has revolutionized how I bake, gone are the days of needing loads of different bowls to individually weight and measure ingredients, thanks to the add and weigh feature, you can weight multiple ingredients within the same bowl - such a time saver! Additionally, this saves on the washing up which I am always grateful to be relieved from.
I have found that the Salter scale is very user friendly, intuitive and easy to navigate even from the first initial usage. The display is very easy to read due to the large digital reading and I especially like that he display only shows up when lit in use. I love how straightforward it is to convert to different units or measurement options with the tap of a fingertip and also I appreciate how many different weight units there are to choose from making it really easy to understand.
The scale itself is really stylish and sleek in it's design, it really fits in with my current decor and blends in well with my kitchen and it's other appliances. It is very thin in it's design which is perfect as it does not take up a lot of space, is easy to store and doesn't get in the way. The materials and finish of the scale are really high quality, it's very durable and strong despite having a glass platform and it feels very sturdy.
The scale is super easy to clean, you simply wipe over with a damp cloth, avoiding products or harsh chemicals, I have found it really easy to clean after use or just to dust over before using it. What's great about this scale compared to others is the fact that it has a low battery indicator warning you that the battery is in need of replacing, I found this to be really handy and helpful as it means I am never caught short by the device not switching on due to no battery. I am given ample opportunity thanks to the warning to replace the batteries in adequate time that I can continue using the scale.
I am currently on a healthy eating plan, so correctly and accurately measuring my food and ingredients of my meals is something that's of importance to me right now. The Salter brand has a great reputation for producing high quality products, and this is no different as not only does it help you to accurately and effectively weigh out your food, it also streamlines the process with the innovative and unique add and weigh feature. That being said, I feel reassured and confident that using the Salter Phantom Scale will help me in my quest to become more fit and healthy as it helps to take the stress out of baking, cooking and preparing meals and it is a welcome addition to my kitchen.

Slim and easy to use

The large display means you don’t need to squint and struggle to see what it says.
I also love the fact that it’s so slim. It’s not big and bulky so hardly takes up any room which is great in a small kitchen

Beautiful design

Weighing and measuring to precision accuracy is made so simple as the great add feature enables you to measure all the ingredients without removing the other to the exact quantity you need. I like the fact that it uses batteries that can be easily replaced when needed. There is a brilliant 15 year manufacturer's guarantee too. The hygenic glass platform is strong, durable and simple to clean.The display lights up when the scale is in use and the digits are large and easy to read. Sleek and accurate

I can now weigh items accurately to the decimal point! Easy to use and turn on and off.

Loved the sleek compact design,black glass top which is very easy to clean. Very light weight and would be super easy to store away in any kitchen.
I thought it would be hard to measure accurately as I needed to bag up some dates for friends and family and done that using a bag bt then decided to use a bowl as you can take the scale to zero which is perfect.
I love to bake so this would be ideal for when I do bake.

Sometimes not accurate

How can a designer get weighing scales wrong?!
Had a set of Salter scales for years. This is the nearest replacement to the old ones I had. They don’t reset themselves to 0g. ALWAYS 2g off. Not ideal. Also the screen is too far towards the weighing centre of the scales, so it is often obscured by the bowl or pan I am using. There’s not a lot to designing weighing scales. How so wrong?!
