Nice to replace grotty black plastic plug and rusty chain with bright chromed brass. Needs a firm insertion otherwise it allows leakage

Plug is NOT 1 1/2 inches as stated
I bought this sink plug today and got it home, it almost fell down my sink's plug hole. I measure dit and it is actually 1 3/8 inches at the widest point. So you don't get what you think you are buying. Took it back for a refund/part exchange for a basic rubber one that I measured in store. Staff were happy to refund but didn't seem fazed at all with the incorrect labelling.
