Hard walls, lightweight frames? Use these
My preference is to avoid plastic picture hooks and go for heavy duty brass hooks with steel nails. But a recent need to hooks into hard masonry walls left me making a mess. I had a few of these in the tool box, so I tried them. Quick to use, simply to hammer in, and presto, it works. Not only does it work, but it holds solidly and securely. It also doesn't break-up the wall. So if you're using a nail-and-hook but finding it very hard going, try these. Heavy-duty options available, too.
