The Lumley is an extremely popular summerhouse due to its styling and great price. This is a very versatile building suitable as a summer house, hobby room or just somewhere attractive to store your garden furniture.
The practical, joinery quality, glazed double doors with large canopy make this a welcome addition to any garden or patio.
It is constructed on sturdy 34mm square framing and clad with planed shiplap tongue and groove boards made only from the highest grade, slow grown northern European pine.
The floor is T&G and the roof is solid sheet OSB. The Summerhouse is treated with a dip treated honey brown base coat preservative ready for you to top coat immediately after installation. This could be a paint or stain.

Easy construction
Very pleased with final result. Easy to construct, all pieces fitted together well. Only criticisms would be floor a little on flimsy side could be thicker wood, roof tacks could have been longer and was expecting the doors to be glazed on deliver (this was a bit fiddly). Good value for money. Deliver driver was excellent although did have to wait longer than expected for delivery.

Dreadful, poor quality. BUYER BEWARE!!
I bought this from Robert Dyas, made by Shire Garden Buildings. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING IT! The shed stain is very poor, patchy, missing areas. The roof felt very thin, and tacks too short. Not enough screws supplied to erect to last more than a short time, nails sticking out, chipped panels, and NO REPLY FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES , despite many emails. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.

Shoddy, substandard shed and CS ignoring
I ordered this for my disabled daughter, but it was delivered with the following faults:
A mis- placed nail sticking out over an inch,
A large piece of wood chipped off
Large areas of both doors missing the treatment stain in BOTH sides
I emailed Shire customer services 10 days ago to ask if they could help, but they haven't bothered replying. The carpenter I used to erect the summerhouse, has also said that the OSB board for the roof is much too thin to last long, so I had to buy more at double the thickness, the tacks for the felt are too short, again, I bought longer ones, and 3 knot holes in the wood arrived pushed out. Now they need filling. The summerhouse is also a full 3 inches shorter in length than that stated. Considering the cost of the summerhouse, and total lack of response from Shire, I would NOT advise buying this shed to anyone

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
