My dear little fountainI have had about four of these before this one - they all ended up in the bin. This one is different, the motor actually works....the water actually flows, it just needs sunshine of course. the build is solid, doesn't fall apart when you move it's the best fountain i have ever had, look no further

Looks smartVery effective feature in the garden - when the pump is working. After two weeks it has failed and I am seeking a relpacment from Robert Dyas

Nice in the sunThis over all is a good product. The base is resin made to look like stone and to be fair, it does good job looking quite authentic. The pump is sufficient to draw a steady stream of water. Very easy to install. The major drawback is that the pump ONLY works in strong sunlight - there is no storage capacity so as soon as even a small cloud appears - it stops. It would be better product if the solar pannel had some storage capacity.

Pump only work intermittentlyThis is the second solar powered water feature I have bought from Robert Dyas. The solar powered pump on the first one (now four years old) is still going strong. On this one, it will work for a while and then make a whirring sound and stop pumping the water. I have to keep going out and jiggling it around!
Apart from that, it looks nice and was a good price.

Great looks, performance poorLooks great but rarely runs, despite the sunny weather shining onto the solar panel

Only worked with direct sunlightWaited 2 weeks for this to be delivered, very disappointed although it says this will work with daylight this would only work when the sun was directly overhead (so for about 1 hour a day) if you were sat in the garden and even a small cloud moved across and partly blocked the sun it would stop.
