Great Fan
This is a very good desk fan. I also have a differrent brand pedestal fan by my bed, which is far bigger, but I feel this 12 inch status fan has a much more efficient airflow. The only thing that lets this fan down, is the centre piece, with the brand name on it. As the fan blade cover is metal and the centre piece is also metal there is a slight vibration noise. It might be worth either changing the way the centre piece is fitted, or change it from metal to plastic

Solid and not plastic!
Does the job, looks good and makes you feel a bit better about the environment. Assembling the grill is not obvious at first but the design is good and solid once you've figured it out. Bit noisy but you can't expect much else with metal blades. No trouble sleeping!

Effective and good looking !
Pleased with my purchase, only issue for me was the assembling which I found very fiddly. Previously purchased the 14" copper floor fan with which I am delighted and that came fully assembled, a definite plus!
