An extra-powerful steam boost gives you of 350g/min steam on demand, to tackle even the toughest creases and thicker fabrics. It also boasts a handy vertical steam function, making it easy to refresh hanging garments, curtains, and other fabric around the home.
The Tefal SV7110 Express Compact Steam Generator Iron will even tell you when it’s time to descale: when the anti-scale button flashes, simply fill the water tank and press the anti-scale button for 3 seconds to flush the scale – no cartridges, no hassle.
An impressive 1.7L water tank capacity gives you up to 2 hours’ ironing time from one fill, and is removable to make it easy to top up under the tap too.
What’s more, for added peace of mind, the Express Compact turns off automatically if left unused for 8 minutes on its heel! While the carry lock, cord compartment, and compact size make storage easy too.

Worth the money!
I really hate ironing but this has made the task much easier and enjoyable. Light weight and compact. It has a lock to keep the iron in place which is a great feature. Glides smoothly and takes minutes to iron items. I had been debating to buy for a while but this was a great purchase.

Good quality
Once I unpacked the iron and read the instruction I was ready to try. The iron glides easily across the clothes and the steam option is so easy to use. Great not to have to keep filling the water up. I've done to wash loads and still has water in the reservoir

Lightweight and compact
Excellent compact iron for tackling all the family’s laundry! Much quieter thank my previous steam generator and great water tank capacity means I can plough through the ironing without refills.
Quite light in weight which is great following a recent wrist injury and arthritis, which makes carrying it around much easier.
Only negative comment would be the temperature dial sounds a little “clicky” and cheap but that really is a minor remark.

Simple to use and works very well
Bought this to replace older version of similar device. That one you had to wait while the tank of water heater up before it could be used. This one is much quicker as only heats the water as you use it so tank stays cold so far more energy efficient. Well designed and comfortable to use.

Light and compact
This is the second Tefal steam generator iron that I’ve had. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is that I’m having to adapt to it continuing to steam for a short while after I’ve stopped pressing the steam button. This didn’t happen with the first one. Overall though, it’s lighter and more compact than the original and seems to have a better descaling function. Scale was the cause of the demise of the first one.

A Service Problem
When trying to reduce the temperature the iron does not respond as expected and it is necessary to switch the iron off and on again to achieve the target temperature. Increasing the heat is no problem. Attempts to get advice from Tefal have met with no reply at all. Very disappointed with the lack of interest.

Don’t Waste Your Money
Brought to replace previous Tefal Steam Generator decided to go for the smaller model. Extremely disappointed my son’s basic Tefal Steam Iron works better. Waste of money and I now know why they are so heavily reduced. Won’t be buying another.
