Sturdy and practical
Very pleased with this desk. The wood is thick and heavy and the structure offers a lot of strength, so it is not going to break or warp. There are optional holes through which cables can be fed, and plenty of compartments for storage (such as a long shelf beneath/behind the keyboard tray). There is also an optional ventilation hole at the back of the compartment with a large door, or a shelf can be added inside to increase storage capacity. Be aware the assembly will take a while and you will need at least one other person to help lift and move the desk - it took me a day to complete. Fortunately I'm the type of person that enjoys assembling furniture, so it was a day well spent!
There are only two minor problems I have experienced with this desk. I was unable to fully tighten two of the screws used for the keyboard tray, so it catches when opening or closing. The screw for the handle of the large door has a protruding head which will strike the frame when the door is closed, so I would suggest putting a foam pad in that area to prevent marks and reduce noise.
These issues are not that significant and the good qualities certainly outweigh the bad. Be patient and organised with the assembly and the desk will be something to be proud of for years to come.

nice looking piece of furniture
slightly dissapointed that it is not pure wood,that was what i was expecting,it is in fact chipboard.it looks great but that dissapointment is still there.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
