Smooth out rough grass, frost-heaves and bed-in freshly-sown seed the fast and efficient way with the easy-to-use The Handy THSGR Garden Roller!
Thanks to its ability to be either water or sand ballasted, you can be as aggressive or gentle in approach as required - when water-filled it weighs 37kg; when sand filled it weighs 65kg.
The Handy THSGR Garden Roller has been equipped with a full-width scraper-bar that keeps the drum free of performance limiting debris as you go.
It's expansive 42cm (16.5in) working width means you’ll cover a substantial area with each pass; while its padded handlebar - foldable for convenient storage - provides a comfortable and secure grip.
The durable one-piece drum on this model measures 30cm (12in) in diameter and comes with a handy no-tools drain-plug.

Fairly easy to assemble although I had a little difficulty in getting the "E" piece on the spindle You might need pliers. The assembled roller looks well finished.

Had to be returned
While this item appeared sturdy enough and did the job in laying a small lawn, before I had finished it fell apart and had to be returned. Instead of using split pins to hold the barrel to the handle, a couple of ping-off never to be seen again clips are used, poor design.

Very poorly built
Just built this a few days ago and the engineering is woeful. Holes don't line up and the handle piece is not straight. I have had to leave most parts off and it is just about holding together enough to do the job. It may have been a one-off in production but as I saw others on here saying similar things, it is probably worth looking elsewhere. For me, it was a bit of a punt as only need it for one job and then probably will never use again-hence why I have basically put it together with bubblegum and sticky tape and won't need to use again. If you are looking for something to use more regularly I would advise to up your spend and get something else.

Faulty garden roller
I bought this roller around 2 weeks ago and when I tried to assembly it, looks like the parts do not match. Sometimes you get, what you pay for. I will return for refund.

Arrived faulty and leaking
The roller had a leak in the drum due to poor welding.
The rubber handle grip had been sliced along its length with a knife and fell off
The frame sections were bent incorrectly so didn’t line up
The scraper bar did not fit the frame
The product is badly made as was a tow behind roller from the same company that leaked due to poor welding.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
