Brilliant idea but!
I bought this to use in my campervan since in the picture, it gives a large cooking area with low wattage (about 4amps sites give between 6 & 10amps,16 if your lucky) with compact storage. The power cord is too short, should be at least 1 foot longer.
The cooking area is the main problem, it seems to be designed for a 1 person breakfast as all the compartmental ridges prevent using the cooking area efficiently. Eg a gammon steak had to be cut in half to fit to fit, a breakfast for 2 requires careful planning which the cooking area should have handled easily. Cooking temperature is too low, it gives a gentle frying heat, possibly the thermostat could be set higher or even increase the current to 5amps? The foldout surface is clever, it can be used as two flat surfaces or fold over cooking George Forman style (necessary for thick sausages) but the partition ridges give problems,also the top doesn’t raise enough to be flat.
The area cleaned well in spite of all the corners. A brilliant idea that’s so close to being good - if only it was flat!
