Great planter to grow herbs and veg on patios
This is my second (matching) trug to sit against a brick wall on a patio. It is a great use of space compared to lots of pots and I have successfully grown lots of different herbs, lettuces, nasturtiums and added tbe odd tulip for some early season colour. Also excellent for cascading tomatoes. It is pretty easy to follow the visual instructions to put it together. You need a couple of basic tools - a screwdriver, a small spanner.

Not too big & not too small
Purchased this month. Easy & quick to assemble & now home to some dwarf beans & hopefully some beetroot soon. Would recommend & will probably buy another too.

Veg trug
First veg trug had to be returned due to poor assembly, the wood had split where screws had been put in.
A new one was sent and the damaged one collected, which took longer than id hoped. The second one was ok. Nice and easy to put together and is a great addition to my garden.

Great product and very happy with the price. Slightly damaged on arrival, nothing that couldn’t be fixed, but dropped stars for this reason.

Good but problematic
Whilst delighted with the product, all the supports which are a central part of the structure were smashed. We chose to glue them together as it was the quickest way to resolve the situation. We were not happy having to do this though.

Poor quality
Very expensive for what this is. The wood is poor quality and doesn’t align very well. The customer service from Robert Dyas was appalling when receiving this product broken and damaged (this was no reflection on the delivery. It was securely packaged and delivered earlier than stated). I will not purchase again from a Robert Dyas.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
