Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal The planter is raised from the ground making it ideal for using without bending. The size is ideal for growing a variety of vegetables. I personally use containers stood in the planter. Easily assembled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy assembly I bought this recently and managed to assemble in less than a day, mostly alone butmy wife had to assist for a limited time. Unfortunately I have not been able to bring it into use yet due to the adverse weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good now I bought this product to replace an existing one which had seen better days. On unpacking the 2 parcels I was disappointed in how it had been put together with poor fixings( nails which were not up to the job) to the extent that both of the side panels which were supposed to be already " built" were just lots of separate lengths of timber with nails sticking out!! I do think about sending it back there and then, but after looking through the rest of the planters parts decided to carry on with the assembly, but screwed everything back in place. I also added a plastic liner to the base and sides. This all took longer than estimated and I did the job without help. It is now in place and full of soil waiting for the weather to improve before planting and "looks good now" so it was worth the extra effort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the job These box planters are ok. Theycarnt the best quality but fir what you pay are camue for money. Have vegetables growing and all look good

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made but..... Only nailed together really needs to be screwed because even empty it is heavy (due to thickness and quality of the wood). When filled with earth and compost it is immovable so ensure you position it before filling. I strengthened it with screws and am very satisfied. I bought a separate cover to protect the plants and currently it is home to tomatoes, spring onions, carrots radish and lettuce and all doing nicely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Garden planter We have lined the planter and now it’s full of compost and veggies all happily growing. We put it up quickly and easily though needed an electric drill to do this. Looks good and is perfect for our small veggie patch we are creating

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Basic raised bed - good design, poor manufacture Bought these for growing veg on our patio. Each took 2 - 3 hrs to make, definitely a two person job. No holes, so everything had to be drilled. Wood isn't properly finished (plenty of splinters) and not sawn straight so edges don't meet. The base slats don't fill the whole base - there are large gaps at both ends. Once completed, they look passable. If we can get our hands on some sandpaper and external paint they'll be improved, but ok for some summer veg for now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor Poor service, arrived wrapped in plastic, no screws or instructions. Covered in green residue which needed painting to look acceptable. Offered return but would have to pay for this at a cost of £30. Screws arrived over a week later following a number of emails.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Absolutely rubbish. Sent a broken table, such poor customer service eventually got another send and that was broken. Customer service was so terrible we ended up buying some screws and husband spend the day repairing. Robert Dyas was made aware of this and we haven't heard another word. Shocking service and would never use again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Badly built, nailed together by a toddler ? Badly built, nailed together by a toddler ? had to replace every bent nail gunned nail in one end panel with screws. very poor and £50 more expensive than the better quality Forest version in Screwfix (which was out of stock due to COVID).
