Emily garden bench
Bought this to match one I had bought elsewhere a few years ago.
Went together nicely.
Easy to construct.
Have now ordered matching armchairs.
Only bought the bench a couple of weeks ago but very pleased with it.
I've ordered the bespoke cushions from Robert Dyas so hope they will look good on the bench.

Great Bench
I already have one of these benches and it’s lasted for years without any rot so I decided to get a second as I was so impressed with its solidness and longevity. Arrived promptly on time and I managed to put it together on my own. Instructions are easy to follow. Back is a little fiddly but with a bit of patience it all slotted together. I would definitely recommend. My original one is as good as when I bought it with absolutely no rot.

Very solid bench
The bench came within one week from ordering it !!! It was easy to put together but the back was a bit tricky getting the plugs to align correctly once done I was very happy with it. Just be aware that this is extremely heavy so you will need two people to move it.

Good solid bench
Bought for parent's 80th birthday, was very please with the quality and how sturdy it is, really nice and chunky. Easy to put together and can be done by one person, although easier with two. Bench was actually delivered a week earlier than expected.

MY BEST GARDEN PURCHASE EVER!
I have been looking for so long for a sturdy, chunky, garden bench, and finally I found this online at Robert Dyas. I was a little apprehensive at first as a 9st, 70 year old female I was a bit worried about the construction! No need, with a bit of improvisation, i.e propped up the back with the help of a small step ladder and tool box, and two garden chairs at the sides, one at each side, the 2 person construction became 1! A comfortable and an attractive addition to my garden, and easy to tip over and back again, in order to mow the lawn. I just love it. I sit comfortably in the afternoon sun with a cuppa most days. Best value for money, and believe me I have looked at a lot over the past year or so. Would buy another smaller one for the terrace.

Quality bench!
After looking around various retailers & garden centres for a good solid bench for the garden I came across the Emily bench which looked perfect so I purchased one. I am so glad I did as this bench is solid, well made and a real bargain compared to everywhere else I had looked.... brilliant purchase!

The bench looks smart and sturdy, so hope it will last us a good few years. Assembly was fairly straightforward with two people but could be a bit more of a challenge for just one person as the parts are quite heavy.

Good sturdy bench, easy to put together (definitely easier with 2 people!). Perfect size for 2 people to sit comfortably. 3 cosily. For the price, so much sturdier than other benches in the price bracket. Minor mark for slight splits to the seating planks. But it is a natural substance. Will have to see how it ages

solid bench looks good. However is of poor quality. I have found 9 cracks or splits in the wood all around the bench. I know wood is a natural product and will crack and expect a few. but 9 is just poor quality I've complained and sent in photos to robert dyas with no response yet.

Everything about this was bad
The bench arrived in the worse packing I've ever seen, basically a thick plastic wrapper, no other packing to protect it. So obviously it was damaged all over, I didn't even open it, it was appalling. The bench had also been stored outside and was weathered, it certainly didn't look like the image online. I would not reccomend, very disappointed, refund requested.

Truly awful buying experience!
Attempted to buy two garden benches which arrived damaged, then spent weeks trying to get them replaced only to find the same two damaged benches delivered again!
Gave up trying and eventually did get a refund but every step of the was hard.
Do yourself a favour, don't go there!

Nice looking, poor quality
I bought the bench after reading the reviews and upon putting it together there were splits in 3 separate parts of the bench. 5 weeks from ordering I am still waiting for some of the parts to be replaced

If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
