The timber used to build this product has been pressure treated for durability and longevity and is likely to still have some green spotting on it as a result. There is no need to worry about these small dots as they are perfectly normal and will disappear within just a few weeks. Wood is a natural material and will inevitably move and warp slightly with time. If your wood splits or cracks with the passing seasons there is no need for concern, this is a natural by-product of timber construction.
Please Note: You can not return this item due to green spotting, as this is a result of the product being pressure treated, and it will fade over time

Zest Base for Sleeper Raised Bed sized 1.8 x 0.45 x 0.45 cm. The Internal Base can be added to the Sleeper Raised Bed or Aquatic Planter for extra support and height. Ideally used on hard-floored areas, such as patios and balconies.

It’s nice, good quality! My only complaint is that it wasn’t clear that it doesn’t come with a bottom. I would have bought that too had I known. I used a liner instead so I didn’t have to wait!

Look the planter but....
Disappointed that the description did not state that you have to buy the bottom/base of the trough as an optional extra. Other than that it’s a very sturdy item that should last a lifetime if looked after.

Overpriced, sloppy construction
One panel was put together sloppily, so that the edges wouldn't line up with the end panel, so there was a tapering gap between the planks. Had to sand a bit off to make it for. The two smaller pieces of the lip to go on the top were missing. By the time I discovered all this I couldn't be bothered to bundle it all back together and return it. Lined it, and it does the job, but very overpriced for what it is.

Expected assembly to facilitated
Bought recently and was all ready to put the planter together as a family project this Sunday. It seemed simple enough until it became apparent we have to drill our own holes for the screws. A bit disappointed as I have never known an equivalent self assembly product with such a requirement. Now where is the chuck key to the drill?...

Flat pack
After two months of chasing .Planter arrived .Too late as we had built our own.All I can say is when it arrived it was a flat pack .Describing this as sleeper raised bed is wrong.No sleepers in sight. For the money I’d go elsewhere not worth the cost in my opinion .We looked at a zest4 leisure product in a garden centre I was not impressed with the quality Concidering the price .

Poor quality timber
Extremely poor quality timber used to make this box. It arrived damp with mould setting in. The workmanship of the cuts were so poor it was impossible to slot the sides together. Follow up customer service has been terrible with no replies to my emails.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
