Solid chair - assembly slightly challengingAgree with what another reviewer said; the assembly of this chair requires more DIY skills than you'd normally expect. It's definitely a two person job. You need a decent powerful cordless screwdriver plus your own strength to ensure that the hex bolts and screws can be driven through what is fairly solid treated wood. The instructions are OK, although why they can't provide colour instead of black & white photos is beyond me. One of the photos seemed to be inaccurate. The hex bolts are prone to rounding if you're not careful. Anyway, once assembled, it appears to be a good quality product. Plus it's comfortable and looks good.

Good solid garden chairThe garden chair is solid and heavy which makes it very good for a permanent position in the garden. Construction required more DIY skills than I expected but was otherwise problem-free. An additional coat of wood preservative improved the colour, though perhaps was not necessary to preserve the wood.

Wooden ChairPoor quality, both packages were damaged and had to get a refund. Not even a quality second in my view.
