The timber used to build this product has been pressure treated for durability and longevity and is likely to still have some green spotting on it as a result. There is no need to worry about these small dots as they are perfectly normal and will disappear within just a few weeks. Wood is a natural material and will inevitably move and warp slightly with time. If your wood splits or cracks with the passing seasons there is no need for concern, this is a natural by-product of timber construction.

Simple assembly
I bought this to adapt to existing supports which were in place for a previous arch. Beware that the overall depth dimension given is not over the posts but over the cross beams. So I had to make my own, but that was no problem. Given that the posts are further apart than as manufactured, I used some of the original cross pieces to support the trellis. The trellis is made of fairly thin members and it will be interesting to see how long they will last. Everything is pressure treated and no additional treatment should be applied for at least 6 months. For some of the joints I used slightly longer and beefier screws that those supplied. The wood is fairly soft, so don't have your power screwdriver on too high a torque setting.

Arch of the Day.
Arrived on time flat packed..On un packing the wood although semi treated was very rough to touch and needed sanding and definitely retreating or dyeing. From what i can see in accessory pack instructions are poor and may need smart phone to read QR code..

Great value for money!

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team on 0333 103 6677 (Monday- Friday 08:00 - 19:00, Saturday & Sunday 09:00 - 17:00, Closed Bank holidays. - call charges may vary by network) or via email to: customerservices@robertdyas.co.uk who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are returning the item under your 14 day right to cancel, then a collection charge will be applied:
- Products < 20kg: £7.50
- Products > 20kg: £30
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
