Great alarm.clock
Very happy with this product . You can choose whether to have back-light on or not . Or you can press button on the top to light up the display. Good alarm sound.

acctim ALARM CLOCK
Bought this alarm clock because I needed an alarm clock to check the time at night. This clever alarm clock has a low light sensor so that when it's dark the display light turns on, so that you can see the time in the dark and stays on all night until the morning when it sensors light and turns off. There is also a switch to turn the sensor off for normal mode. Just what I was looking for. Thanks Robert Dyas !

Nice clock but misleading picture
This is a nice clock and I like the smartlite which stays on all night so you can see the time without having to press anything. However - the picture and description is misleading as the smartlite is actually GREEN and not RED which the picture etc would indicate. It is only when you press the top button to put the temporary bright light on that it is red. Also the clock I received was not like the one shown in the picture with the buttons on the side, I think I received an older model which had silver buttons on the back - it looked a bit cheaper and is not as nice as the one pictured.
