Terrible - not fit for purpose
I couldn't be more disappointed with Circulon SteelShield. The anodised coating has failed after just one use at medium-low temperature. I used the stainless steel turner provided to sear scallops in order to exactly replicate the video used in the marketing campaign that sold me on the item in the first place - the result was nothing short of catastrophic! Despite being very delicate with the implement - it obviously just feels wrong to use stainless steel on non stick - the coating has clearly come away, not only on the sides of the pan as one might expect, but also in between the metal ridges that make up the SteelShield gimmick. How this is even possible after a single use with a flat edged implement is completely baffling. At least the damage was done straight away and in spite of my best efforts to mollycoddle the pan. Therefore I can point the finger of blame squarely at the manufacture of the pan and its total lack of quality before making the mistake of ordering more from this range or recommending them to friends.
Pity, as the circulon professional range is truly exemplary, but the disappointment of using SteelShield and witnessing its complete failure straight off the bat is a real let down and such a waste. I can't even return it as it has been used! Save yourself the disappointment and but something/anything else

SteelShield fry pan.
Cleaning this fry pan is very difficult, yes you can put in dishwasher. I tried to clean not damaging bottom of fry pan this is very difficult to do. I’ve bought Circulon non stick fry pans they were excellent. This one poor cleaning design. If you use “ Brillo” or steel wool soap pads these will damage non stick and you loose warranty. I returned mine. Hope this helps.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
