Very good trimmer for money
I ordered my Bosch trimmer on line. As Dyas said it was in stock. I thought that was good as I could collect it from Solihull branch that was fairly local. For some reason I was not sent a confirmation email for purchase. I rang the shop who told me it was in their warehouse and they’d email me when it was ready for collection. Got an email after a week and was then told it was sent in error. Eventually I was told it was ready to collect, but in this day and age nearly 10 days from order to receipt of goods is not acceptable. That said the product is extremely good and great value for money.

Lightweight and versatile
Having been fed up with a petrol strimmer starting and line feed issues and not wishing to revert to an electric cable strimmer I purchased the Bosch battery strimmer.
The strimmer lightweight, versatile and extremely efficient. Perfect for a medium sized garden.

Just the job
I bought this about a month ago and have used it several times. So far I am very pleased with it. It is very light but sturdy enough to cut through tall nettles, thistles and docks as well as grass and smaller weeds. If fully charged I run out of energy before it runs out of battery!

Easy edging
I am 82 years old and never used a strimmer before. I bought this to make lawn edging easier. I found it easy but also needs practice. The plastic string keeps breaking but it gets better when one becomes more skilled. I am determined to master it.

Light and easy to use.
Assembly of the strimmer takes about 10 mins, but you need to charge the Lithium Battery for 60-90 mins before use.
Only issue is the line which will break easily on hard surfaces like paths.

Limited use
Bought this for general strumming & lawn edging. Ok for ordinary strumming but useless for llaen edging. The head assembly turns rather than just the head. Result - you can't get behind the line of it and the handle is in the way in narrow passages. Just wish my trusty Flymo hadn't died!

Not fit for purpose
The strimmer is 'lightweight' in both a complimentary and pejorative sense. It is light to carry even with the battery attached. However, the length of cut is too short. The strimmer twine supplied keeps retreating into the spool so that the cover needs to be removed to extract it. The semi-automatic feed does not work. A disappointment for a Bosch product.
