Compatible with all BRITA Maxtra filter jugs, partnership appliances and most own brand jugs, these universal filter cartridges are an innovative solution to cleaner drinking.
This is a single water filter cartridge giving you around 1 month or 50 litres of filtered tap water.
BRITA’s unique MicroFlow technology ensures powerful water filtration for both hot and cold drinks, as well as cooking, permanently absorbing metals such as lead and copper.
Handy finger holes make cartridge exchange simple and straightforward, and with no pre-soaking required, these convenient cartridges are highly user-friendly.
Thanks to new micro carbon pearls, chlorine and organic impurities which affect taste and odour of food and drinks are considerably reduced, while ion exchange pearls cut back limescale to enhance flavour and noticeably improve the aroma of tea and coffee.

Best way to buy them
We have two jugs and use your filtered water not only for drinking alone but because when used in a kettle it keeps the kettle clean of build up and also makes the tea taste great - I really recommend them

Love my third Brita jug
Glad I bought another jug as I now have one in my motorhome too!
Thought I would not like the new top opening but it does work well!
I use the water for my dogs, us and plants! My Tassimo machine doesn't rock up so quick either as with my electric kettle also!
Service for new memo was great too. I highly recommend Brita!

Absolutely money saver
The best thing with the filters that I can use in my pitcher as well as in my kettle (to make hot water). It makes a huge difference I no longer have to descale my kettle and get fine quality water for my tea, soup, coffee etc.

Excellent product
I've been using Brita water filters for quite a while and if I ever have tea made from unfiltered tap water it tastes horrible. I even use Brita filtered water if I have flowers in a vase.
I'm so thankful there is a product that can filter water. Also, the Matrix filter cartridges are an excellent design and very easy to fit.

These filters are easy to use and replace.
My only complaint is that I live in an area with extremely hard water and while the maxtra plus is definitely better than the old maxtra at tackling hard water it still has a way to go as they don’t last long in my area and the majority of the UK has hard water

Water much cleaner
Really love the improved water quality. No more limescale in drinks or in my kettle. No longer buying bottled water so better for the planet too. Only negative is the monitor on my Brita jug is telling me to replace the cartridge after just 22 days. I don't consider myself to be a heavy user of drinking water (2 person household) so feel disappointed at the shorter lifespan of the product

Improves water taste
I bought this and like the quality of water it produces. Ideal for tea, coffee and other drinks. Despite following initial set up procedure i find cartridge sometimes cease to filter and you need to press the finger tabs at the top for air to escape and filtering to resume. Have been told that preparation at the outset and ensuring all air is taken out of submerged cartridge is essential.
