Great grill! Read about gas and regulator below.
This is a brilliant grill. Cooks great and quickly. It’s lightweight but sturdy. It’s great for the back garden and for travelling too. We fed 11 people off it. It’s gets hot real quick so keep regulator down low and keep an eye on the thermometer.
The gas canisters needed are the Coleman 500 screw in type. They fit perfectly on the table.
The regulator does appear to be loose fitting when you first put it in. This is how it’s supposed to be. I have an email from char broil Customer service telling me this because I did query it myself. When it’s in, it just sits on the table and doesn’t move so it’s fine. Gas control from the regulator is good too.
I recommend this grill. The cooking area is about 12” x 18” which is ample for about 6 burgers and some sausages all at once. I can’t see the need for a massive thing on wheels that takes up loads of room when this does the same job and can be stored away. I will be buying the storage bag too.
Follow the setup instructions. Burn it off for 15 minutes to start with. Brush olive oil on it before use and after cleaning to keep it nice. There is a scraper in the box that you can use to get the big bits off the grill but just leave the rest, it burns off and adds to the flavour.

Very happy with this BBQ. An ideal size as it's easily stored away but the cooking surface is plenty big enough for a family of 4.

If you're short on space this is the BBQ for you!
I had some concerns about quality and cooking power, there was no need for concern. The bbq is remarkably well made, the stainless steel cooking grate is particularly nice. Easy to quickly set up and delivers excellent heat. I've cooked some salmon and burgers so far and the bbq excelled, great heat intensity to sear and weber quality smokiness too. I am chuffed!

Great portable bbq/grill
My husband was against getting a gas bbq as he didn’t want a ‘a big thing rotting in the garden’ . This portable bbq is great because we can pick it up and pack it away . It quite a large grilling space so can easily feed 4 adults. It heats up quickly and cooks meat and vegetables really nicely! Our steaks were beautifully moist.

Poor Quality Regulator = Unworkable
Bought this from a bona fide stockist. The regulator has never worked properly and causes the regulator pipe and valve to freeze during use - intermittent gas flow - makes grilling 2 hamburgers an onerous and sometimes impossible task. Also a bit of a safety concern as last time I switched off the gas and disconnected the regulator form the unit a jet of flame came from the regulator and continued for some seconds. Simply a low quality regulator which lets down the whole unit
