Good service
The water butt was as described. All the bits arrived within the stated timescale. Fitting instructions were fine and construction was relatively easy. The butt filled up overnight during a very heavy rain storm; so it clearly does the job.

Save more water!
I bought this to join to another water butt to take the overflow. Just put it together in time in a few minutes. Lucky I did because there was heavy rain next day and the overflow from the first butt now runs into my latest one. Great!

Easy to setup. Very useful.
I found the filler kit easy to setup and check as the filler's top lid can be opened and adjusted if required. The base is made of 3 pieces which are not joined together. Once the water butt starts filling up and sits nicely, this doesn't become an issue. The tap comes preinstalled.

Works well, base a but fiddly
Bought as addition to 100l butt. Works well, sturdy construction, base appeared a bit fiddly but once it is in place and water filling up, seems fine.

It does all it’s supposed to do
I bought this because it was cheaper than on eBay
Not everything on there is cheaper
It came with a stand and an attached tsp, it could be longer so you can fit a watering can underneath it
Now I just go to w as it for it to rain
I use the water in it to top up my pond, so far so good, I’m happy with it

Good water saving capacity
Good sized water butt with a safety locking lid. The only slight problem was that the tap fitting leaked. Plumbers tape resolved that.

Good, with one caveat
Overall a good product. My only criticism is the design of the stand which comes in three sections. This is logical from the perspective of reducing the packing size but unless the surface on which the butt is to be positioned is almost perfectly flat getting the three sections of the stand to stay in place is very difficult. I found it necessary to put a small bolt in each of the sections linking them together in order to make any sense of setting it up.

Ooops!
I tried to buy one locally but could not find one easily - decided to order it from Robert Dyas online. It arrived a few days later. I installed it pretty well immediately in a relatively sheltered location and just before the storms that came and the expected rain.
On day two of its installed life during the day it appears to have been blown sideways off its plastic plynth. This presumed because of the wind and because I did not see or hear it happen. The butt was damaged so badly during this incident it was a write off!
I was utterly surprised at this: I can find no reason for the water butt to have caved in so badly and cracked at the top short of vandalism but that seems very likely given its position. I had to go out and find one locally in the end to replace it. Almost £70 down the drain with the water that it had contained.

Filler requires a 27mm hole - very unusual size
Not put it together yet, currently looking at the instructions which say drill a 27mm hole at the top to fit the diverter pipe. But looking at the online sites, finding a bit in that size is extremely difficult...

Water butts
I boughy 2 recently. The section bases i feel are unstabe, flimsy not fot pupose as the lugs on one of the bases broke as I was assemblying it. The butt itself tilted as rain water entered it. I have sent an email about this and am looking forward to receving a replacemrmt. The positive side is the colume of the butt and a tap was fitted. The negative side is the base the fact that the lugs broke of as I was assembeing it.i would reccommend this product except for the base

Disappointing
I bought this water butt a month ago. It came fairly promptly and was packaged well. It needed a hole drilled into it to put the pipe through, no one would have this size of drill bit so alot of imagination and time went into making a hole. Why on earth it wasn't already drilled is beyond me. The stand isn't sturdy enough and the first time it rained and was half full the water butt fell off the stand and the whole side of it collapsed. We had to hammer it back out and tie the stand together. It's working now but doesn't look particularly safe.

Disappointed
The three part stand that supports the butt does not clip together securely and relies on the weight of a water filled butt to make the whole thing secure. It was very windy the day I put it all together and the wind caught the butt, blowing it over. Very brittle and it cracked making it useless
