Extremely useful in winterI bought this last winter, on Robert Dyas' website. I do not have a dryer in my washing machine and I was tired of either having my clothes smell funny or having massive gas bills. The appliance is easy to set up and doesn't use a lot of money to operate (I have a pay as you go electricity contract, I think for 3 hours of use it would charge me around 90pence). It is naturally quite bulky when it's fully open, but I found that if I keep just the legs on it sits okay and it can stay in a corner without being too intrusive.
I have recommended it to my colleagues and friends and to anybody who lives in a cold, wet climate.

Well worth the money! We have now been running this for about 4 months and it has proved extremely good value!
We live in a small house with no garden to speak of and therefore drying clothes has always been an issue. We bought the Dri-Buddy for exactly that reason.
We have set it up permanently in the bathroom behind the door and IMHO it has a relatively small footprint considering its drying capacity. The Dri-Buddy takes just about a complete standard washing machine load and it a lot cheaper to run than the tumble dryer.
I have recommended this to colleagues, one of whom has gone on to buy her own with positive results!

Great productThis is a fantastic product. It is quick to set up and dries clothes quickly and virtually non iron. Excellent value. Would not be without it. So much better than my old tumble drier. Wish I had bought it years ago.

It works! Not a tumble dryer, don't be mistaken but when you have no room for one, this little space rocket works wonders! Easy to put together and easy to pack away. Takes longer than a tumble dryer obviously but great all the same!

Looks good and works good.I bought this several months ago and it is fantastic. There is plenty of room inside to hang your clothes and they dry very quick.
No more tumble drying and ruining your clothes. We would not be without it now it is so easy to use and the results are great.

Essential for my flat!I bought this a year ago. Although I have had a few issues (namely part of it melted and the pole isn't securely screwed in) I couldn't live without it. Makes drying clothes a breeze.

Useful for items that can't go in the tumble dryerThe dryer is very useful for items that can't go in the tumble dryer. The dryer is easy to take apart when not in use, although I tend to leave mine up. You can use either a timer option or constant until you turn the dryer off option. I find the timer useful. It really warms the room it's being used in too. It is most effective when there aren't too many items in it.

Good qualityAs we were getting a lot of condensation when drying clothes in the house, we decided to purchase a DriBuddy & keep it in the garage for drying clothes. We are really pleased with its performance, but certainly struggle to hang 18 items on it to get even drying. However would certainly recommend it to anyone.

not as fabulous as I had hoped.I had such positive feedback from people I knew who already had a Dri buddy that bad no hesitation in ordering one. However it is really difficult to screw together and looks wonky when done up. It doesn't screw together straight at all. I am sure it shouldn't be like this but left it a few weeks before trying it out so felt that I couldn't take it back. But I would like to try another one to see if it fits together better.

Useful airerIt is quite noisy and it does take a while to get a few things dry.
Needs loading carefully otherwise it could tip over .

Good drier but.....So, after doing on line research into an indoor drier, I settled on the Buddi, principally due to the price at Robert Days (and a cashback deal from my bank). Generally I am pleased with the purchase as it has proved useful during the winter months for drying clothes. However, there are points that any purchaser should consider.
1. The zips need very careful handling - one of mine has already broken although I was able to repair it.
2. Be patient when loading with clothes as it is easy to knock them off when putting the cover on. Take your time.
3. Although there is technically space for 18 items to be hung, I have found that 12 is the realistic limit.
4. A full drier will need more than 3 hours to dry all items. T shirts remain damp under the arms otherwise. However, be careful to remove any items that have dried or shrinkage is a risk.
Despite those issues, I would still recommend it as it HAS dried all our washing over winter and has performed reliably.

DisappointmentThis Dri-buddi was advertised as a convenient and cheap way of drying clothes indoors, and said that it could dry 18 garments at a time, if I remember rightly. I have compared the cost of electricity used on my smart meter, with that of my tumble dryer (I have a washer/dryer) and find that if anything it takes more electricity to dry using the Dri-Buddi, and I have yet to find a way of arranging the clothes in a satisfactory manner, and nowhere near the 18 garments stated.

Drying Performance is PoorI bought this drier to save having clothes on the radiators over winter. Unfortunately for thicker clothes like cotton tee shirts, sweaters, trousers really don't dry very much over a 3 hour period, so it is back to the radiators. I'm sure it would work perfectly for 2 or 3 thin shirts but not for the 10kgs of washing it claims.
