Chop up logs with ease thanks to this foot operated log splitter from Logmaster. Simple and easy to use, this low-cost alternative to hydraulic log splitters requires just a few foot pumps to split a log, enabling you to prepare, dry out and store logs at any time of the year.
Efficient and labour-saving, it will turn this chore into a quick, quiet and easy task. With one-footed operation and a streamlined, maintenance-free steel construction, it will split all logs including seasoned and green wood to a maximum log size of 45.7cm in length and 25.4cm diameter in just seconds. Simply adjust the foot pedal height to at least 33cm and push down with firm pressure. For some logs, this may need to be repeated three to four times.
Low maintenance, this log splitter will offer you with plenty of use through all your garden maintenance. To keep it working effectively, simply lubricate with anti-rust machine oil.

Doesn't work, just jams
Logs jam and then can't be removed. It doesn't push the log close enough to the blade to split all the way through.

Stopped working on day one
The log splitter worked on a few logs but then the pawl began to slip so that it couldn't grip any more. Poor design I think.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
