Can't review the oven, just the service. Awful!
Living in a first floor flat, during a pandemic, I made contact before ordering to make sure the oven could be delivered to me. The tweet I received in response assured me that delivery would be made to my exact address.
When I placed the order, it said the courier would be in touch to arrange a date for delivery. However, when that email arrived there was no arranging, there was just one date available to select. A date when I should be at work. I am a single working parent so it took some arranging to be able to have someone available all day, but fortunately the contact I had the day before gave an early window, from 7.30.
So imagine my surprise getting a phone call at 6.40 saying it would be about 30 minutes. The oven was being delivered to an empty flat so it could be fitted before we moved in. His paperwork did not match the information I was given, but fortunately he was able to wait until my mum arrived. Only to then say he was unable to deliver the oven to the flat due to covid regulations. Which is exactly why I had made contact before placing the order. The driver told my mum he was not allowed to enter the communal area, although when I complained I was told it was drivers discretion so who knows who is just trying to pass the blame.
So, my toddler and I moved in to a flat with no oven until I was able to arrange one through somebody else... Who carried it to the flat and through to the kitchen for me. The only reason I hadn't gone with them first was not having what I wanted in stock but in the end it was worth paying more for a different model to receive good service. I will never order from Robert Dyas again, which is a shame as I had really expected their customers to be treated better than they are by some of the other big names in this area of retail.

The cooker is great but the service was terrible I will not deal with your company again. I have twice to be taken off of your emailing list but typically I’m still on it !! So please for the 3rd time can you not send me anymore emails. Many thanks

Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
