Sturdy & Safe
We bought these steps to be safe when changing light bulbs or working up to ceiling height & they are good & sturdy with wide, non-slip treads. It feels so much safer having the handle to hold onto when going up & down instead of trying to hold onto the nearest wall or cupboard too!

Its a step ladder
Its a step ladder. It does what its supposed to, no more no less. Its fine for occasional use but I suspect it would stand up to heavy usage on a daily basis

Bring back face to face shopping!
The product itself is fine, the method of purchase not so fine. I was hoping to be able to buy this or another product from an actual branch of Robert Dyas, as I wanted to test it for weight and stability. I am no longer young and I needed something to enable me to access high cupboards safely. However although when I checked my local branch on the web it appeared to stock this and other possiblities, when I visited the shop, it was too small and stocked virtually nothing in this area. A shame as I have always found RD staff very helpful and well informed but in this case they couldn't help. So I had to order online. Delivery was efficient but it took me about half an hour and a battle to divest the product of around half a ton of plastic (non recyclable) and the product itself is rather heavier than I had hoped for and therefore a bit tricky to move around, particularly in a confined space. Had I been able to test this and other products in an actual shop, I would probably have chosen something lighter. I hate shopping online. Bring back live face to face shopping!!

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
